چکیده

We study a possible function of brain, in particular, we try to describe several aspects of the process of recognition. In order to understand the fundamental parts of the recognition process, the quantum teleportation scheme[3, 2, 6, 7] seems to be useful. We consider a channel expression of the teleportation process that serves for a simplified description of the recognition process in brain. It is the processing speed that we take as a particular character of the brain, so that the high speed of processing in the brain is here supposed to come from the coherent effects of substances in the brain like quantum computer, as was pointed out by Penrose. Having this in our mind, we propose a model of brain describing its function as follows: The brain system BS =X is supposed to be described by a triple ( B(H), S(H), Λ∗(G) ) on a certain Hilbert space H where B(H)is the set of all bounded operators on H, S(H) is the set of all density operators and Λ∗(G) is a channel giving a state change with a group G. Further we assume the following: (1) BS is described by a quantum state and the brain itself is divided into several parts, each of which corresponds to a Hilbert space so that H =⊕kHk

Teleportation via an Entangled Coherent Channel and Decoherence Effect on This Channel

We study an entangled two-mode coherent state within the framework of2×2-dimensional Hilbert space. We investigate the problem of quantum teleportation ofa superposition coherent state via an entangled coherent channel. By three differentmeasures with the titles ``minimum assured fidelity (MASF)”, ``average teleportationfidelity” and ``optimal fidelity (f)” we study the ...

Optimizing Teleportation Cost in Multi-Partition Distributed Quantum Circuits

There are many obstacles in quantum circuits implementation with large scales, so distributed quantum systems are appropriate solution for these quantum circuits. Therefore, reducing the number of quantum teleportation leads to improve the cost of implementing a quantum circuit. The minimum number of teleportations can be considered as a measure of the efficiency of distributed quantum systems....

“TelePOVM” – More Faces of Teleportation

We show two new aspects of teleportation based on generalized measurements: I. We present an alternative approach to teleportation based on “generating ρ-ensembles at spacetime separation”; This approach provides a better understanding of teleportation. II. We define the concept of conclusive teleportation and we show how to teleport a quantum state using any pure entangled state; we show how t...

Teleportation, Braid Group and Temperley–Lieb Algebra

In the paper, we describe the teleportation from the viewpoints of the braid group and Temperley–Lieb algebra. We propose the virtual braid teleportation which exploits the teleportation swapping and identifies unitary braid representations with universal quantum gates, and further suggest the braid teleportation which is explained in terms of the crossed measurement and the state model of knot...

Disentangling Nonlocality and Teleportation

Quantum entanglement can be used to demonstrate nonlocality and to teleport a quantum state from one place to another. The fact that entanglement can be used to do both these things has led people to believe that teleportation is a nonlocal effect. In this paper it is shown that teleportation is conceptually independent of nonlocality. This is done by constructing a toy local theory in which cl...
